Digital cameras are nice to have. You can delete the photos that you do not like. You can store images on them forever, as long as you have the room. You can print only the photos that you want printed, which saves a lot of money compared to developing. You are also able to crop photos, remove red eye, and do a number of other things that you cannot do with ordinary cameras or disposable cameras. Digital camera prices vary, depending upon the make and model you choose. They also vary, depending upon when and where you decide to purchase your camera. When the cameras were first introduced, digital camera prices were very expensive. That’s how it is with most products though. I can remember when I was a little girl and the vcr first came out. You can pick up a vhs player for less than one hundred dollars now. When my mom and dad bought their first beta, it cost them almost one thousand. The same thing happens when a new video game system is introduced. The prices come down as the availability increases and the demand decreases. The same has happened with digital cameras. More people have them now, and you can buy one just about anywhere. Therefore, prices have dropped drastically. You should check digital camera prices in a variety of locations before you commit to buy. Many retailers sell digital cameras, so you can buy them in department stores and in discount stores. Chances are, you can find the same or a comparable make and model for less if you do some checking around. If you find a camera that you like in Sears or Circuit City, you may want to check the prices on the same or a similar camera in Best Buy or Wal-mart. You may get a better deal. Keep an eye on the sales flyers as well. You can often get a much better deal if you simply buy at the right time.
